Can I schedule a phone consultation?

What happens during the consultation?

This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before you schedule your first appointment. I will give you more information on my therapeutic services, counseling style and fees.

What about my privacy?

As a licensed professional counselor, I am required by law to keep all of our sessions confidential. There are few (and rare) exceptions to this. I will review the limits to confidentiality during the consultation and first session.

Do you accept insurance?

First, please know you do not have to use your insurance and you are welcome to use your pre-paid health benefits (HSA card) to pay for your appointment.

If you want to use your out of network benefits I will give you information you can file with your insurance company. Payment in full is required at the time services are rendered.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash and all major credit/debit cards. I require a debit/credit card to secure your first appointment.
Payment is due at time of service.

What if I can't make an appointment?

Due to your personal progress and my limited availability, it is crucial that you attend your scheduled appointment. In the case that you are unable to attend, please notify me at your earliest convenience. There is a cancellation fee for all missed or cancelled appointments.
